Ensure you carry out a table top reference on top of your milling underlay!

To begin the adjustment, either select the Tool Height Adjustment dialogue or Tool Setupdialogue.

Selecting Tool Height Adjustment is simply a shortcut to the first calibration option under Tool Setup.

If you select Tool Setup, you first need to select the tool you wish to adjust, then click Adjust Active Tool.

When prompted, choose Tool Height Adjustment and click Next.

The tool height adjustment wizard will now guide you through the process of setting the tool height.

Place some masking tape on top of your milling mats and drive the milling head over the tape.

Press the "tool down" button on the operator panel and adjust the tool height offset value until it just cuts through the tape, but not into the mat beneath.

Before you press the "tool down" button, raise the tool height offset my clicking on the up arrow.

This will stop the milling tool will above the tape and you can lower the tool into it, rather than cutting too deep initially and having to raise the tool up causing unnecessary damage to your milling mats.
